OH HEY,
FRIEND!

I’m Andy Angeli, interdisciplinary video editor and graphic designer based in southeast London.

Print

In my 9-5, I work as a Multimedia Designer for a house label called Toolroom Records (previously at Verdigris Management 2022-2025). In my 5-9, I freelance and volunteer for friends and community, through promoters, musicians, grassroots orgs and networks.

I do quite a few things for print, including zines, posters, wedding invitations and outdoor advertising. Working with InDesign and other digital tools is quite practical, and it’s fun to play with illustration to create effective designs.

For Jungle’s 2023 LP ‘Volcano’ we had a behemoth international marketing campaign to promote the album as well as the band’s subsequent world tour.

The album artwork (put together by the wonderful James Moruzzi) was the focus of the branding, which I used as the central asset for the OOH campaign - advertising across the EU, US and Latin America.

Static socials content

The digital world has a lot of flexibility to it, so it’s nice to do graphic design bits for social media - I like to explore layout and texture in these, as you have a bit more creative freedom with stuff made for these spaces.

It also brings me fulfilment to know that these platforms have the power to make social change and support local community efforts.

video editing : podcasts, grassroots orgs & queer community

In the freelance world, I enjoy supporting local community through video editing, with socials content creation for grassroots orgs, creative video for queer spaces, and for my friends who are musicians in the local scene.

At Toolroom, I also edit a fortnightly podcast for Toolroom’s education platform Toolroom Academy. It’s been interesting teaching myself how to do long-form video editing, and it’s rewarding to see the community that grows around it.

POSTERS

Tour posters are a big part of promoting live music, and I’ve put together a wide range of admats that have been used across socials, OOH and print. I’ve also helped put together posters for events held within the southeast music scene in London.

Working with promoters, organisations and artists means that I often have to take into account multiple needs from different types of teams so I try my best to keep everyone updated every step of the way so that the designs can be 100% informed by the intention behind the final product.

music videos

Over the last couple years, I’ve gotten deeply interested in video as a medium for storytelling, creativity and social change. Design and art is also where my creative energy goes, but in terms of capital-w-“Work”, video editing is more my jam.

Here are a few examples of music videos I’ve done, as well as a personal project of mine that I put together as a video diary and set to a mutual friend’s music.

Personal: Video Diary - footage shot by me, video editing, song is ‘Planes’ by Alfie Demos (2026)

animation + live visuals

Animation has been something that’s interested me since I was a kid, and it’s fun that I get to explore it at my job - it takes many forms in both my contracted and freelance work.

Independently I’ve also produced visuals for live projection for Jaffro in late 2024, which involved shooting lots of footage and then manipulating and editing it together in sync with the music.

Fool’s Paradise: Fabric Poster - Animated (2026)

Kisch: ‘Love All Day’ Lyric Video - motion design, video editing (2025)

Cassimm: ‘Valerie’ Lyric Video - motion design, video editing (2025)

Video admat

Working closely with digital marketers and the artists themselves, I compiled footage and edited video ads to market their live shows.

These video ads have aided in selling out shows such as the O2 London and have been implemented across socials, streaming, TV and outdoor digiscreens.

Jungle: Local video admat for the O2 London (2024)

LA Priest: Local video admat for Baby’s All Right in New York (2023)

Bea and her Business: Local video admat for KOKO in London (2024)

BTS Content

Going on set and filming BTS content is one of my favourite things to do. The versatility of the footage and the intimate nature of the content is so fun to explore and of course, letting fans see a part of the creation process is lovely as well.

These particular videos were to support the release of two separate music videos on socials which were shot for Ezra Williams’s LP ‘Supernumeraries’, released in 2023.

Illustration

I’ve put together a variety of illustrative and drawn assets for independent projects and contracted work.

One of particular note is a submission I made for Urban Outfitter’s print magazine ‘SHEET’ which is featured in their 16th issue in spring/summer 2025. The brief for this one was ‘Play’, where I enjoyed toying with the concept in a whimsical approach.

Album artwork

I’ve also had the pleasure of working with independent musicians local to me, such as the electronic pop artist Jaffro.

Their latest album was released in 2025. For this, I liaised with them on concepts for artwork designs and prepared designs for print as well as digital release.

Preceding this album Jaffro released a few other tracks, as two AA-sides.

Merch + Vinyl

Physical product design is also a cornerstone of my day to day work, from collaborating with artists on the perfect design to proofing the samples. Seeing fans wearing the shirts that spent so long living on my screen is a great feeling.
